This time of the year, you can put on any radio station to hear some Christmas classics. Oftentimes I find myself listening to Delilah (shhh…don’t tell) because you can always rely on her to pair up some sappy holiday tune that ties back to whatever issue the caller had - but did you ever realize that she never really solves their problem?

There’s a little secret I want to let you in on. There’s some really good holiday music out there that lives on outside of the radio airwaves. Two of my favorite albums this Christmas are She & Him’s A Very She & Him Christmas and Emmy the Great & Tim Wheeler’s This is Christmas. She & Him bring you classic Christmas songs with a sweet sound that only Zooey Deschanel can bring. Emmy the Great & Tim Wheeler’s spin on Christmas is a little more upbeat and quirky bringing an unconventional infectious twist to the expected sounds of Christmas.

I put together this playlist as a little gift to all of you. It’s no flatscreen or DSLR, but it’s guaranteed to warm your hearts this Christmas.
